Krauthammer on Limbaugh’s Fox Criticism: We’re Just ‘Pointing Out the Obvious’

Rush Limbaugh took some time on his radio show today to mock Fox News and some of its talking heads for cautioning Republicans against a government shutdown. To Limbaugh, that basically amounted to them saying they might as well let the Democrats do whatever they want.

Fox’s Bret Baier brought up those comments today and asked Charles Krauthammer, one of those talking heads Limbaugh was riffing on, to respond to the argument that Republicans shouldn’t be compromising after their clear and decisive midterm victory. Krauthammer had this to say in response:

“I guess he pointed to a herd of RINOs who are simply pointing out the obvious. Government shutdowns have been tried. They’ve been tried twice… the numbers for the GOP plummeted radically as a result of that. And I don’t know how many times it takes to learn the lesson.”
