Lindsey Graham Says There Are Only Two Kinds of Gaza Protesters: ‘Dumbasses’ and ‘Terrorist Sympathizers’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) claimed on Tuesday that pro-Palestine protesters could be sorted into just “two classes”: “dumbasses” and “terrorist sympathizers.”

Reacting to the ongoing student protests for Palestine during an appearance on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime, Graham told host Jesse Watters:

I think the Department of Justice needs to investigate where the money is coming from. There’s two classes of people here. Anti-Semites: If you say, “We are Hamas,” and you mean it, then you are a religious Nazi. If you say, “We are Hamas,” and you don’t know what Hamas is all about, you are a dumbass. So there’s dumbasses and there’s terrorist sympathizers, and how do you fix this? Win in November. Here’s what I can promise you, if Donald Trump were president of the United States, his attorney general would be all over this, these college presidents would be under the gun to stop this crap.

Watters replied, “Yeah, some of them are dumbasses, ’cause they can’t even spell ‘Palestine.’ We saw that right there in red graffiti.”

The Fox News host then aired a photo of a graffiti tag misspelled, “Palastine.”

In October, Graham told CNN that no amount of civilian deaths would make him question Israel’s bombing campaign in Gaza, which has killed more than 35,000 people, including 14,000 children.

“If somebody asked us after World War II, ‘Is there a limit what would you do to make sure that Japan and Germany don’t conquer the world? Is there any limit what Israel should do to the people who are trying to slaughter the Jews?’ The answer is no,” said Graham at the time. “There is no limit.”
