Right-Wing Conspiracist Laura Loomer Heckles CNN Reporter, Gets Kicked Out of CPAC

Right Wing conspiracist Laura Loomer was not at CPAC on Saturday and according to TheWrap, it is because she had her press credentials yanked for heckling a CNN reporter.

The altercation with CNN’s Oliver Darcy reportedly happened at CPAC’s media area on Friday.

TheWrap reports:

On Friday, Loomer, who received media credentials for the event as a representative of Illoominate Media, followed Darcy into CPAC’s media center heckled him with questions about internet censorship and social media bans, according to several witnesses. Loomer believes Darcy is at least partly responsible for her being banned by Twitter.

TheWrap also posted video of the moment Loomer was turned away.

“I am one of President Donald Trump‘s biggest supporters,” Loomer is heard saying to two security men, who she asks if they are Secret Service. (They are not, they work for CPAC).

“It doesn’t make any sense,” she continues on, noting that she just had dinner with Katrina Pierson.

One of the men says the politics is “irrelevant.”

“It’s such bad optics for CPAC to be banning me” Loomer then replies before the men walk away leaving Loomer asking about the “left-wing agitators” who are left in while she was banned.

Loomer, by the way, is not denying that she confronted Darcy and told TheWrap it had to do with his efforts to get Alex Jones off Twitter.

“The reason why I confronted Oliver Darcy is because Oliver Darcy led a lobbying initiative as an employee of CNN to have Alex Jones de-platformed from Twitter,” she explained. “Oliver Darcy is a perpetual victim. He is constantly advocating for people to be banned and silenced. As a member of the media, Oliver Darcy should respect our First Amendment right.”

Darcy has not commented publicly about the confrontation and his only mention of Loomer on his Twitter feed is this retweeted image of Loomer meeting Donald Trump Jr. on Thursday.
