S.E. Cupp Praises Nikki Haley: She Should Run for POTUS So We Get ‘Someone With Balls in the White House’
“Nikki Haley is not here for your sexism, White House.”
HLN’s S.E. Cupp opened her show today by defending UN Ambassador Nikki Haley over the blatant “sexism” she faced amid this really strange flap over Russian sanctions.
To review: Haley announced sanctions were coming on Monday. Monday came and went and no sanctions. Economic adviser Larry Kudlow said she was probably confused, and Haley fired back by saying, “With all due respect, I don’t get confused.” Kudlow has since apologized.
Cupp said there’s no word other than sexism to describe how Haley is being treated, saying it’s “embarrassing” to see “the men running Trump’s bumbling White House” blaming her for this flap.
Haley took the high road with her response, which Cupp praised her for. But she added that they clearly don’t deserve her respect and said, “While Kudlow and the rest are running around trying to clean up after whatever inane thing the President’s just tweeted or make policy decisions that, you know, don’t contradict one another or to keep all the president’s scandals straight, Haley’s taking on global terrorists like Putin and Assad with tougher language than Trump’s ever mustered. She makes her male counterparts look like scared schoolboys merely playing at government.”
She concluded:
“I for one hope she is looking to run for president in the near future. It would be nice to have someone with balls in the White House.”
