Sam Bee Rips ‘White Supremacist’ Tucker Carlson: ‘Revolting Trash Heap of Racist Talking Points’
Samantha Bee showed no mercy to Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night as she argued that the Fox News host’s unearthed comments merely top off the racist comments he pushes on a regular basis.
As Bee opened Full Frontal by cycling through the lowlights of Carlson’s shock jock radio hits, she called it “vile and disgusting and presumably the audition tape that got him a job interview at Fox.” After noting that Carlson “advocated genocide” with his remarks about Muslim “animals” and “primitive monkeys” living in Iraq, she turned her attention to Carlson’s non-apology asking people to watch his show.
“Guess what f*cko, we have been watching your show and we found it’s a revolting trash heap of racist talking points,” Bee said. “Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Tucker Carlson is a white supremacist. Oh no, I’m sorry, yes I am.”
The segment went on with Bee putting a spotlight on Carlson’s charged remarks about demographic changes in America, along with his dismissal of the idea that racism is still an issue for the country. She also noted how popular Carlson is with unsavory figures like white supremacist David Duke and alt-right rag The Daily Stormer.
“Tucker has spent nearly 20 years getting paid to be an angry white man on three cable news networks, only two of which have fired him, so far,” said Bee. “Playing to white victimhood is his whole schtick, yet he claims he doesn’t know what he’s doing.”
