Stephen Colbert Helps Romney By Delivering ‘More Elegant’ Version Of His Leaked Video Remarks
On Tuesday night, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert declared Mitt Romney‘s comments about the “47 percent” a victory because, hey. It successfully got us all to stop discussing his comments about Libya.
Colbert commended Romney for the bravery of his comments, noting that “we job creators” are well aware that there is indeed no such thing as a free lunch. Rather, lunch costs, you know. Fifty thousand dollars a plate. Besides, Romney was correct: Obama supporters are indeed jobless parasites. Just take a look at Oprah Winfrey. Colbert also pointed out that Romney made mention of the troops — they’re among those exempt from paying federal taxes, along with children, the elderly, and the working poor.
He then gave Romney a hand by delivering a “more elegant” version of Romney’s remarks. It’ll amuse your bouche so much. Just watch out for those gyrating Russian call girls in the f***put.
