Trump Gets Hit in the Face With a Football in Super Bowl Ad Airing Only in DC
The pigskin lands a bit higher than in a Hans Moleman production, but it’s enjoyable nonetheless.
In a Super Bowl ad that aired only in the DC area, Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins lobs a football at President Donald Trump‘s face.
The ad, which is for Cyprus Air Heating, Cooling and Fireplaces, starts with Trump – played by a pretty spot-on impersonator – tweeting about installing coal fireplaces in the White House. Rather, he says that he didn’t install them as we see black smoke rising from the chimneys.
That’s when Kirk and his perfectly-aimed football show up to save the day.
“Melania says these old school fireplaces are dirty, and I’m turning the White House into an ash-hole,” Trump tells Cousins, who then leads the president to a Cyprus show floor, where the deals are up to 80 percent.
“80 percent? That’s almost as high as my approval rating,” Trump says.
“Whatever you say, sir,” Cousins replies.
This is the second year in a row that Cyprus Air has treated local viewers to a Trump ad during the Super Bowl. This year’s ad has drawn hundreds of thousands to YouTube to see the whole thing; it is currently one of today’s top trending videos.
