“Obama adviser behind leak of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal,” blasted an “exclusive” New York Post headline from Edward Klein this weekend. According to the author’s unnamed sources, it was President Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett who leaked the story about Hillary Clinton’s private email address to The New York Times.
“Obama and Valerie Jarrett will go to any lengths to prevent Hillary from becoming president,” one source allegedly told Klein. “They believe that Hillary, like her husband, is left of center, not a true-blue liberal.”
But when Fox News’ James Rosen asked White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest to comment on the story at Monday’s briefing, he answered with just two words: “Utter baloney.”
Klein is the author of both Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas, a book that pushes the narrative of war between the two camps and The Truth About Hillary, which alleges that Chelsea Clinton was conceived through rape, a claim the author later walked back.
