Wolf Blitzer Grills Pompeo: Will Mexico Pay For the Wall?

Wolf Blitzer ended his interview with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo by asking him, “Whatever happened to the president’s commitment for so long during the campaign that Mexico would pay for the wall?”

Pompeo insisted the wall will get built and he talked about the good relationship with the new Mexican foreign secretary.

But Blitzer brought things back to the wall, and the interview ended like this:

BLITZER: And Mexico paying for the wall?

POMPEO: We’re going to get the wall built, Wolf.

BLITZER: Will Mexico pay for it?

POMPEO: Wolf, we’re going to get the wall built.

BLITZER: I’ll leave it on that then.
