‘Get Your Shit Off My Statue’: Laurence Fox Climbs Monument To Tear Down Palestine Flag

Former GB News host and activist Laurence Fox climbed a statue outside parliament to pull down protest signs and a Palestinian flag from the monument.

The incident took place during the weekend’s pro-Palestine and Gaza ceasefire demonstrations in which tens of thousands of demonstrators descended on London to demand an end to Israel’s campaign on Gaza.

Multiple videos surfaced of Fox climbing onto the statue to tear down a flag, throwing down several protest signs that had been left there too.

As the conservative activist clears the statue, he can be heard shouting: “Get your shit off my statues.”

An argument between his supporters and others can also be heard in which the claim that the protestors are “breaking the law” by leaving the signs on the monument.

Fox dismounted the statue amid cheers from the individual videoing his actions, calling him a “legend” and praising him: “Well done!”

The Boudicca statue is located on the north bank of the Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament. Mounted high on a grey granite plinth the monument depicts Queen Boudicca on a chariot holding a spear. Boudicca is famous for having led her tribe against the Roman invasion and occupation in the early 5th Century AD.

Fox was sacked by GB News this month over a misogynistic rant about female journalist Ava Evans. His comments, made to presenter Dan Wootton, resulted in both their suspensions from the network. Wootton remains suspended and under investigation by the network.
