Watch Live: House Of Representatives Votes On John Boehner’s Speakership

The Republicans in the House of Representatives have begun the process of electing a Speaker. Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) standing for reelection, it is likely that a majority of the House Republican conference will reelect Boehner. Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is also standing for reelection. Some Republicans have expressed reservations about Boehner’s leadership. 215 votes are required to elect a Speaker. Will it take multiple ballots to reelect Boehner?

UPDATE: Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) cast his vote for Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID) for Speaker of the House. Representatives have also cast votes for Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) and former Rep. Allen West (R-FL).
