Following Trump Victory, Corey Lewandowski Quits CNN
It has been confirmed by CNN’s own Brian Stelter that controversial ex-campaign manager for Donald Trump, Corey Lewandowski, has resigned from his position at CNN. He took the position after resigning as campaign manager, causing a huge shake-up in the company and among viewers and other pundits alike because he was still being paid by the campaign for most of his tenure at the news giant.
Only a few days ago, latest campaign manager Kellyanne Conway posed for a photo with him that was captioned “teamwork.”
The resignation came in this afternoon and is effective immediately, though there is no word on his future plans and whether or not he is returning to work for Trump, though he was seen arriving to Trump Tower earlier this morning. (It wasn’t the first time he’d been spotted in or around Trump property.)
This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more details become available.
