BREAKING: U.S. Capitol Building and Visitor Center on Lockdown (UPDATED)

News is breaking from Washington, D.C.-based reporters on Twitter that there is a lockdown happening in the nation’s capital city that was announced over loudspeakers at 9:22 a.m. ET.
