Donald Trump Jr. Has Reportedly Agreed to a Transcribed Interview with Senate Judiciary Committee

Last month, there was reporting that Donald Trump Jr. was invited to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Well, now he has reportedly agreed to be interviewed before the committee.
CNN reports this afternoon that President Trump has agreed to a transcribed interview behind closed doors. A spokesman for Senate Judiciary Committee chair Chuck Grassley says Trump will be interviewed by “senior committee staff.”
Politico is independently reporting the same:
The committee would not divulge the exact date, but another source familiar with the matter said the testimony would likely occur in the “next few weeks.”
Just yesterday NBC News reported that Robert Mueller‘s team is looking into whether President Trump himself attempted to “conceal” the purpose of the now-infamous Trump Jr. meeting.
