Exclusive: WorldNetDaily’s Les Kinsolving on Birthers, Jonestown, and More
Part one of my interview with WorldNetDaily correspondent and radio host Les Kinsolving was really just the tip of the iceberg. In parts two and three of our interview, Les opens up about some of the touchstones of his extraordinary career, including his experiences as the first Jim Jones whistleblower, his place in the history of the AIDS epidemic, and his quest to see the President’s birth certificate. Amid a host of seeming contradictions, he also talks about being pro-choice and anti-death penalty.
Very often, after Les unloads one of his double-barreled questions on Robert Gibbs, people will come up to me and ask “Who was that?” When I first met Lester, I thought I had the answer to that all worked out. He seemed to be just another anti-gay, right-wing crank. Something I’ve learned in this personality-driven business, though, is that it is always a mistake to dismiss someone based on superficial assumptions.
As I found out later, there is much more to Les than meets the eye. If you can get past what are likely significant disagreements with personal politics that can enrage on both sides, what remains is a fascinating story. His part in the Jonestown saga alone is the stuff of epic human drama.
As such, I would ask that you view these clips, not as a political interview, but as a very unique character study.
Here is part 2 of our interview (despite the title card that mistakenly identifies it as part 1):
