George H.W. Bush Breaks Bone in his Neck, Brought to Hospital
On Wednesday morning, former president George H.W. Bush fell and broke bones in his neck and his vertebrae while at home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Spokesman Jim McGrath told CNN that although Bush will have to wear a neck brace, he was quickly taken to a hospital in Portland, Maine, where his condition was reported as stable.
McGrath also tweeted that Bush was never disoriented by his injury and that Bush won’t remain in the hospital for very long:
41 fell at home in Maine today and broke a bone in his neck. His condition is stable — he is fine — but he'll be in a neck brace.
