GOP Congressman Answers 9/11 Truther Question with Bizarre Question
Sometimes members of Congress get questions about 9/11. Not the good kind, the conspiratorial kind. But Republican Congressman Pete Sessions had a rather bizarre answer when a high school student asked him about the conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11.
The student asked, “Do you think that the government has withheld important information regarding 9/11 because it does not agree with the official narrative given in 2001?”
Now, instead of saying, “Oh, that’s ridiculous” or “Who cares what a few nutballs think?”, here’s how Sessions responded: “Do you think that Oswald was the only person to shoot Jack Kennedy, our president? I don’t know.”
And he kept going about the JFK assassination, saying that he’s not sure who actually killed the former president. He went on to condemn the “evil people” who attacked the U.S. on 9/11 and said the Pentagon was definitely hit by a plane, but didn’t comment beyond that.
