How Your Favorite News Personalities Are Spending Super Bowl Sunday

Today is the Super Bowl and all of America will be tuning in to see if the Falcons will beat the Patriots, if Lady Gaga will make a political statement, and if the commercials will be any good. That includes your favorite (and least favorite) news personalities, some of whom will be rushing home from the taping of the Sunday shows to make sure they get their chicken wings ordered in time.

What do they have to say about the big game?

With the Falcons being from Atlanta and all, you’d have thought that CNNers would be talking about today’s matchup  nonstop but…

…they’re all pretty focused on work! Jake Tapper talks about the intersection of football and politics on his show today and even John Berman found a way to make his Super Bowl tweet about his job!

CNN employees, please, take a break and relax today!

Since Fox is airing the game today, the people over at Fox News talked about the event from a unique perspective.

Jon Scott of Happening Now ran a poll to gauge public opinion, but should be careful. After all, Fox News is no proponent of unscientific polls!

Overall, FNC staff look like they’re enjoying the day.

How about NBC News and MSNBC? Well, this tweet from Ari Melber basically sums it up:

(He spent the afternoon brainstorming uses for spare socks with his followers and the whole conversation is worth a read.)

At ABC News, the feelings seem family-oriented and lighthearted.

Finally, local news outlets — especially in Texas, where the game is being held, and from Georgia and Massachusetts — are also having a good time!

So, what are your plans for the day?
