‘If You Love Us as Baristas, Don’t Order It!’: Starbucks Barista Has a Meltdown Over Unicorn Frappuccino
If you’ve been anywhere near a computer or cell phone or Starbucks lately, you’re aware that there’s a new limited-edition Unicorn Frappuccino that has been breaking the Internet. In case you haven’t, here it is:
As rare as… a unicorn. The color-changing, flavor-changing #UnicornFrappuccino—here for a limited time at participating stores.?✨ pic.twitter.com/TaIQrF8fac

They’re sweet and they’re sour, they contain absolutely no coffee, and they’ve gone completely viral. Also, they’re apparently really, really difficult and annoying to make. One Starbucks barista named Braden Burson who works at a location in Colorado has had quite enough of the whole thing, and went on an epic rant begging people not to order the drink.
“Please don’t get it!” he screams into the camera. “I have never made so many Frappuccinos in my entire life! My hands are completely sticky, I have unicorn crap all in my hair and on my nose. I have never been so stressed out in my entire life.”

“If you love us as baristas,” he continued, “Don’t order it!”
He concluded his rant with one last plea: “For the love of God and everything that is good, don’t get the Unicorn Frappuccino!” The video was taken on Snapchat, but he posted (and deleted and reposted) it to his Twitter account, and he’s gotten a lot of responses from baristas who feel the exact same way:
@iambburson @Starbucks I relate to this so well ?? today has been one hell of a day for us baristas

@iambburson @Starbucks I totally feel your pain – I was a barista when the strawberry and cream trap. Came out, same madness! Just a few more days!

Lucky for Braden, it will be over soon. The Unicorn Frappuccino will only be around through the weekend, or until stores run out.
