Jake Tapper Delivers Knockout in Response to RT America Anchor Criticizing CNN’s Coverage
Early this evening, RT America anchor Anya Parampil sent out a tweet ridiculing CNN’s coverage of the inauguration, ripping hosts Dana Bash and Jake Tapper for talking about fireworks.
Tuning in to @CNN in time to catch Jake Tapper and Dana Bash compare Trump's fireworks to the 4th of July. Suppose this is vital info.

Well, Tapper saw the tweet and responded, making a reference to Parampil’s employer.
next time tune in to when we're discussing how your boss Vladimir Putin is responsible for human rights abuses and cyberattacks of US https://t.co/rHFnty5dHj

Ouch! RT America is the American-based channel of the RT network, formerly known as Russia Today. RT is owned and funded by the Russian government and is seen by many as a propaganda media outlet for the Kremlin.
After Tapper called Parampil out, there was quite a bit of reaction, most of it noting how Tapper destroyed Parampil.

Parampil replied back by invoking McCarthyism and inviting Tapper to appear on her network.
Childish McCarthyism aside, your *actual* boss, Jeff Zucker, created Trump. Now let's watch careerists like you fall in line and punch left. https://t.co/ZLMux2sO58

Anyway Jake, you have an open invitation to talk with us on the network if you'd like. We sent an invite through CNN media request. https://t.co/ZLMux2sO58
