Joan Rivers Rants Against Israel Critics, Says CNN ‘Should Be Ashamed’

Slash-and-burn comedian Joan Rivers, an outspoken supporter of Israel, has let loose on talking heads who are criticizing Israel in its escalating conflict on the Gaza Strip.

Asked to comment on the issue by TMZ, Rivers likened it to if New York were to respond to rocket fire from New Jersey. “We would wipe them out,” she said. “The Palestinians– you can not throw rockets and expect people not to defend themselves. … They started it”

In the nearly two-minute rant, Rivers said the BBC and CNN should both “be ashamed of themselves,” presumably for what she views as their coverage being unfair to Israel.
