Joe The Plumber Is Back And Filing For A House Run In Ohio

Remember Joe the Plumber, né Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher? Of course you do. Well, Wurzelbacher is back in the news, and this time he has his eye on a House run in Ohio’s 9th district. On Friday, he filed candidacy papers with the Federal Election Commission and registered a campaign committee, of which he is treasurer, called “Joe for Congress 2012.” Surprise! Or not, we guess.

He’ll be running as a Republican and will likely be able to capitalize on the notoriety he gained back in 2008, when he criticized Barack Obama’s small-business during a campaign stop in Ohio. Wurzelbacker, who is not actually a licensed plumber, was swiftly dubbed “Joe the Plumber” and held up by the McCain-Palin campaign as a representative of blue collar America’s struggles and frustrations.

Funny, but the truth is he’d probably still have better judgement and less indictments than many liberal politicians.

It always amazes me that people like Joe think they’re qualified to do any more than rummage around in fecal matter. It will only be a matter of time before his opponents dig up his past and find him guilty of tax evasion and welfare fraud!

That’s very possible.  I guess the solution is in weeding out the evil ones.

blue collar guy gains fame and is on his way to Congress.  Sounds like a movie plot, but I wish him great success.  God knows he can’t do any worse.

    Sadly, yes he can.

He’s the brains of the Republican Party.  I see a Gramm/Joe Plumber ticket coming.
