Lindsey Graham Brushes Off Trump’s Release of Cell Number, Turned It into Kids’ Game
Senator Lindsey Graham has taken Donald Trump‘s release of his cell phone number surprisingly well. Not only has the 2016 hopeful actually taken some of the massive influx of calls and messages, but he has successfully brushed it off and turned it into a kids’ game.
A reporter for The Washington Post ran into Graham at a movie theater in DC, where he was joining Sen. Kelly Ayotte and her children for a viewing of Minions. During an elevator ride, he took out his phone and showed that calls were still coming in, and he and his company were taking turns to pick up.
Graham said that on the way to the movie, he handed the phone to Ayotte’s young daughter and son, who picked up and answered a few calls. According to Ayotte’s son, “the mailbox is definitely full.”
The Tuesday focus on Graham began when Trump fired back for an interview he gave where Graham called his rival a “jackass” for all of his inflammatory remarks. Trump responded by calling Graham an “idiot” and a “stiff” before giving the press his personal number and encouraging them to try it out.
Graham joked about the incident with his Twitter followers earlier today:
Probably getting a new phone. iPhone or Android?
