Local Reporter Who Has Investigated Carrier’s Possible Move to Mexico Barred From Event
A reporter in Indiana who has been following Carrier’s possible move to Mexico for months was denied press credentials to today’s announcement event with Donald Trump. A number of Rafael Sanchez‘s colleagues were credentialed with no problems, according to the local ABC affiliate, where he works as chief investigator.
Immediately, there was concern that Trump had something to do with it and was barring reporters from events based on their investigations.

Trump campaign senior advisor A.J. Delgado corrected the record.
@chrislhayes It was Carrier execs (a private company w every rt to pick attendees, btw) who denied credentials, not Trump camp

So, too, did Sanchez himself:

The event was designed to reveal the deal Trump and Carrier reached to prevent some of the factory’s jobs to disappear in the move to Mexico.
