Truth be told, I had no idea this took place around Thanksgiving. I think perhaps I was too blinded by envy over the Upper West Side apartment depicted in the final scene (where, I now realized, everyone is eating Thanksgiving supper) to notice much of anything else. Turns out I was not the only one.
