Pelosi Weighs in: Trump’s Speech ‘Utterly Disconnected From the Cruel Reality of His Conduct’

Following Donald Trump‘s joint address to Congress this evening, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement:

She noted that Trump, in her view, speaks in a way that is totally disconnected from his actions.

In his speech, Trump promised to create a Department of Homeland Security office just to monitor crimes committed by immigrants.
