Rick Perry Tops New Presidential Poll! (Against Katy Perry and Tyler Perry)
We’ve been talking a lot today about a new poll from Time that has the American people feeling more positively towards the Occupy Wall Street protesters than the Tea Party. However, there’s another poll that came out this morning as well. And while it actually also found the same results regarding the two protest movements, they found something else as well. Apparently, Rick Perry is now topping a presidential poll!
…Against Katy Perry and Tyler Perry.

Yes, amidst all the questions about protests and John Boehner and the Senate, the left-leaning pollsters at Public Policy Polling decided to ask their swath of regular Americans who they’d rather have as their leader; Perry, a singer with whipped cream-spraying boobs, or a director who teaches family values while wearing a dress. And, good for Rick, he won.
Against Katy Perry, the Texas Governor got 41% of the vote to her 18% and, against Tyler Perry, it was 38% to 18%.
Now, I don’t know much about polling, so I have absolutely no idea why they would ask this, but I’m totally fine with it. Rick Perry would beat Katy Perry and Tyler Perry in a presidential election. That’s something I didn’t know yesterday but now I do.
My favorite question in the poll, however, is this one:
Again, good to know.
