State Department Reverses Visa Revocations After Judge’s Ruling on Travel Ban

The State Department has reversed the revocation of 60,000 visas in response to the Seattle judge temporarily blocking President Trump‘s travel ban last night.
According to the AP, the State Department announced the reversal today after receiving word on the judge’s ruling, which applies nationwide:
The department had said up to 60,000 foreigners from seven majority-Muslim countries had their visas “provisionally revoked” to comply with Trump’s order blocking them from traveling to the United States… For now, the department says people covered by the order and holding a valid visa may now travel to the United States.
Homeland Security has suspended implementation of the ban, but the White House said in a statement last night the DOJ fully intends to fight back on this.
