Susan Rice: Trump’s National Security Council Shakeup is ‘Stone Cold Crazy’
Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice ripped President Trump on Sunday over the changes he made to the National Security Council.
Trump enacted a new executive order on Saturday which placed White House chief strategist and former Brietbart editor Steve Bannon on the Council. The action also states that the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will now only attend meetings where “issues pertaining to their responsibilities and expertise are to be discussed.”
Rice took notice of this decision, which she described in a nutshell as “stone cold crazy”:
This is stone cold crazy. After a week of crazy. Who needs military advice or intell to make policy on ISIL, Syria, Afghanistan, DPRK? https://t.co/Mmyc139w3M
