The Umpqua Community College Shooter Has Reportedly Been ID’d

CBS is reporting the name of the Umpqua Community College shooter, as confirmed to them by law enforcement sources:

BREAKING. Two law enforcement sources tell @CBSNews the Oregon shooter was 26-year old Chris Harper Mercer.

9 people were killed and 9 were injured when the shooter opened fire on campus earlier today.

The campus went into lockdown as authorities responded to the active situation. The gunman was killed in a shootout with police, and students and faculty were bused away from campus.
