This Exists: Al Qaeda Presents Conditions for Peace With U.S.

No really. Al Qaeda has apparently been tuning-in to a lot of the recent cable news coverage and decided President Barack Obama‘s popularity is sufficiently low that now is the time to lay out their conditions for peace. From CBS:

In the second, 24-minute part of a video released in March and posted on militant websites Sunday, [American-born] Gadahn said the Democrats’ loss in January of the Massachusetts Senate seat underlined Mr. Obama’s falling popularity.

In white robes and turban, Gadahn told Mr. Obama: “You’re no longer the popular man you once were, a year ago or so.”

Alas, Saturday Night Live is on summer hiatus because one imagines this would make for a great cold open. Oh, and the conditions for peace basically involve Americans withdrawing from everything everywhere.
