‘This is Revolting’: Celebrities React to Budget Cuts to Arts Funding
Today, President Donald Trump‘s “America First” budget proposal was unveiled and it would increase defense spending by $54 billion while eliminating any future spending on the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, among others.
This caused #SaveTheNEA to trend on Twitter, and many celebrities voiced their opinions on the possible elimination of the endowments. Most of them aren’t happy:
