Trump: Jon Stewart ‘Begging’ Me to Appear on His Final Show

jonDonald Trump claims that The Daily Show is “begging” him to be on Jon Stewart‘s final show, airing two weeks from today.

If you’re wondering why they would ever do that in the first place, there was a report weeks ago that for Stewart’s big send-off, the show is reaching out to Stewart’s biggest rivals to invite them to basically tell him good riddance.

Trump was one of the names mentioned, and in an interview with The Hill, Trump said today, “They have invited me. I like Jon Stewart — I think he’s good. They’re begging me to go on.”

But he’s not sure he would do it because “it looks like pandering.”

It goes without saying that Trump’s presidential campaign has given Stewart so much pleasure in his final run of shows, but tense feelings between them have existed long before Trump decided to put his money where his yoog mouth is.

Back in 2013, after Stewart called Trump “Fuckface Von Clownstick,” Trump fired back by resorting to comments section tactics.
