Trump Scrubs Tweet Incorrectly Calling GOP Candidate a Rhodes Scholar

Donald Trump‘s Twitter account is so chock full of some of the most random and hilariously ridiculous sentiments, that a tiny factual error or two along the way could easily get overlooked. But Trump made one of those yesterday and only took it down after people by the score pointed out his error.

Trump threw his support behind Arkansas Republican congressman and Senate candidate Tom Cotton in the following tweet:

Only problem: Cotton isn’t a Rhodes Scholar. Whoops.

Well, at least he didn’t say something callous like American citizens with ebola shouldn’t go back to the U.S. and “suffer the consequences” of their actions…
