Trump Targets ‘Rogue’ Mueller After Manafort News: ‘Doing TREMENDOUS Damage to Criminal Justice System’
President Donald Trump opened fire on Robert Mueller once again Tuesday, accusing the special counsel of “ruining lives” — the morning after Paul Manafort was accused of lying to the FBI after his plea deal.
“The Phony Witch Hunt continues, but Mueller and his gang of Angry Dems are only looking at one side, not the other,” Trump wrote. “Wait until it comes out how horribly & viciously they are treating people, ruining lives for them refusing to lie.”
“Mueller is a conflicted prosecutor gone rogue,” he added.

In a second tweet, Trump said Mueller is “is doing TREMENDOUS damage to our Criminal Justice System”:

In a court filing Monday, Mueller’s team accused Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, of violating a plea agreement by lying repeatedly to federal investigators.
On CNN Tuesday, legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin offered three possibilities for Manafort lying to the feds: arrogance, stupidity, are an attempt at a pardon from President Trump.
UPDATE 8:10 a.m. EST: In a third (but apparently not final) tweet, Trump slammed his own Justice Department:
….terrible Gang of Angry Democrats. Look at their past, and look where they come from. The now $30,000,000 Witch Hunt continues and they’ve got nothing but ruined lives. Where is the Server? Let these terrible people go back to the Clinton Foundation and “Justice” Department!
