Twitter Totally Disgusted by Steve Mnuchin’s Wife Louise Linton

Earlier Tuesday, we posted about Louise Linton — wife of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin — who unleashed a tirade against an Instagram commenter who called her out for an opulent photo and post in which she got off of a government plane with designer shopping bags.

“Have you given more to the economy than me and my husband?” Linton wrote. “Either as an individual earner in taxes OR in self sacrifice to your country? I’m pretty sure we paid more taxes toward our day ‘trip’ than you did. Pretty sure the amount we sacrifice per year is a lot more than you’d be willing to sacrifice if the choice was yours.”

Linton’s Instagram page is now private, but users on another social media platform are sounding off> Here’s a sampling of the reaction on Twitter.
