‘You Own Her!’: Hannity Goes on Another Angry Rant Against #NeverTrump-ers, Glenn Beck
Sean Hannity‘s meltdown over #NeverTrump Republicans continues with another angry rant on the radio today.
The rant was first flagged by Business Insider, and it’s yet another indication of how much Hannity plans to blame anti-Donald Trump Republicans like Glenn Beck and Jonah Goldberg
Goldberg recently argued that he and all the #NeverTrump people could turn on a dime and support The Donald and it would fix exactly nothing. And, in fact, he called out Hannity and asked, “Why are you happy to let him continue to pander to crowds that will already vote for him rather than make the slightest effort to persuade a constituency that would put him over the top?”
Meanwhile, Beck has been adamant about how dangerous he finds Trump. Hannity snarked today, “It’s a holy war for him at this point, he’s off the rails attacking me every day, blaming me for Trump… I was fair to everybody, Glenn… My conscience is clear.”
And that’s when Hannity really went off:
“So here’s what I say to all of you Never Trumpers — Glenn Beck, I hope you’re listening. You own Hillary Clinton’s Supreme Court appointments. You own it! You are doing everything you can do to cast doubt in people’s minds!”
So yes, even “casting doubt” about Trump is a traitorous act.
He continued:
“Arrogant, stubborn, lying about what Trump has said and his record. Purposefully distorting, creating doubt, misperception––and you’re so obsessed… with Trump, you don’t even go over how corrupt Hillary is!…
“And you are going to say, ‘Hannity, we blame you. You gave Donald Trump time on your show.’ And I gave every other candidate time. His agenda is infinitely better than hers. And if you can’t see that, then that’s your problem. You own it. You own her. You own every dumb thing she’s about to do. I blame you. Got it? I am going to name names regularly if she wins.”
Hannity concluded by saying he’ll be more than happy to take the blame if Trump doesn’t do what he says in office.
