The New York Times Discovers Butts

The New York Times decreeth: the butt has become “the erogenous zone of choice in America.”

The Times’ style section is always uncovering purported novelties — who can forget when the Grey Lady spotted this “lunch” people were suddenly having — and the paper treats Williamsburg with the same eternal wonderment as a two-year-old locked in a game of peekaboo. So this is some serious synergy:

For anyone obsessive enough to worry about the size of the pores on her rear end, there is a $65 facial at Skin by Molly in Williamsburg, which promises to “smooth out rough skin with steam and extractions. It’s just like a facial … except for your bum.”

Williamsburg, questionable trend, way for vain upper class white people to burn disposable income: the New York Times is on the butt beat.
