This afternoon, America Live‘s Megyn Kelly tackled the mounting controversy surrounding Newsweek‘s rather odd choice of picture and headline for its cover profile on GOP presidential hopeful and Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Some conservatives, as well as the National Organization of Women (NOW), are speaking out against the cover, calling it sexist and politically biased. Kelly brought on the Daily Caller’s Caroline May to discuss the outcry.

Sean Hannity has made a commitment with last Friday’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher: to do everything in his power to publicize the vulgar things said on last Friday’s episode. In fact, today is the third day since the program aired that Hannity has dedicated a segment of his program to the offenses– the first day allowing his guests to go after Maher personally, the second taking the reins and calling for women’s groups to respond. Today, Hannity went off on Maher again, this time accompanied from an unexpected source of fury: Father Jonathan Morris, who condemned Maher’s “anti-religion” agenda.

After a weekend of blogging and tweeting attacks from Current TV Chief News Officer (is it just me, or does that sound like a job posting for TASS?) Keith Olbermann, conservative pundit S.E. Cupp struck back this morning with a Special Comment of her own. Responding to Olbermann’s relentless barrage of insults about her intelligence, her honesty, and her parents, Cupp turned the former Countdown host’s signature segment against him.

Louisiana Sen. David Vitter is the definition of teflon tough. Having been caught patronizing a DC prostitution ring and made to apologize before the press, Vitter put his head down, plowed through his Senate term, and got through it without resigning. But the trouble isn’t over for the Republican senator, who has now been revealed to employ a domestic abuser as his liaison for women’s affairs and has sixteen challengers in his primary election.

Glenn Beck opened his show today with a quick review of two of last night’s most talked-about Super Bowl ads. Namely, Tim Tebow and Betty White. But the ad that really got under Beck’s skin was the $2.5 million Census advertisement paid for by the U.S. government. Money wasted!
