Trying to spin what? That the Democrats were able to win a seat in a district that historically votes Democratic, that has voter registration at 2 to 1 in favor of the Democrats, and that has been occupied by a Democrat for 30 something years? Spin it how?!

I suppose the real question is… why are you so excited that this seat, which doesn’t shift the balance of power at all, was so heavily contested? What does that say? Either way, why is it “huge?”

Once again, the voters show what they think of the politicians who backed the stimulus bill and Obamacare fiasco. Specter was a big supporter of both, and has been rejected by the voters as a result. And come November a lot more politicians will pay the price for ignoring their constituents. Meanwhile the stimulus package is such a disgrace, that you won’t hear any prominent Democrat event mention the word “stimulus” any more. Goodbye Arlen Specter, who got exactly what you deserved.
