Aziz Ansari Knows Exactly What Should Replace SC’s Confederate Flag

“I can’t say this for you guys,” comedian Aziz Ansari said, laughing, to PBS NewsHour on Friday. “You’ll never use it.”

On the show to promote his new book, Modern Romance, on the same day the Confederate flag come down in Columbia, the South Carolina native offered up his suggestion for what should replace it in front of the Statehouse.

“They should replace the flag with a new flag that shows how much progress South Carolina has made,” Ansari said. “My idea for the flag would be… a beautiful couple. It would be a handsome black man having sex with a beautiful white woman.”

“And it says: ‘South Carolina: We’re Not Fucking Racist.'”
