CBS’ Dickerson Asks Trump About That Shooting Comment

Yesterday Donald Trump talked up the loyalty of his supporters by actually saying, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters.”

Many people in the audience laughed.

Well, on CBS’ Face the Nation this morning, John Dickerson asked Trump about that.

Trump said, “I have a very great group of people, John. I have people that are so loyal.”

He continued to brag about how his supporters “will not leave” and have “far greater loyalty” to him than other candidates’ supporters have.
