Matthews obsession is bordering on pathologic. Is this really a story, or a vendetta? Where is the discussion of ideas vs who “controls” whom, seems trite and silly. I’ve listened to Rush, but don’t make a habit of it. He is an entertainer that comes up with some interesting takes on subjects, but as any talking head can get thrown off course. The Matthews stalking seems like another case of “find the boogeyman” strategy of the Dems.
And Thomas, if Reps are “drinking the koolaid” you are taking it intravenously. Very lucent commentary (joke).

This Jokers are one of the groups keeping Rush in the news to begin with. he thrives on the attention given to him, when he doesn’t get these attention he says outrageous things and these bunch automatically talks about him. Memo to MSNBC, Stop talking about him, move on.

The MSNB twits are watching their ratings circle the drain and feel they can reverse the trend by starting fights,Chris with Rush and Olbermann with O’Reilly. One problem Rush and O’reilly act as if neither one is even breathing.,its like they brush them off like a bug.

Let’s call this what it is… it’s another attempt by Matthews to be KO. As we’ve discussed before, Matthews desperately wants to keep his job. He doesn’t get along with KO, but he’s tried to do everything in his power to be enough like him, to keep his gig. That’s why over the past few years, he’s move much more solidly and rabidly to the left.

Now, all that said… the rationale for this is simply: KO made it “big” (relatively speaking) by picking a fight with O’Reilly. Matthews wants to pick a fight with someone so that he can get “big” too. He can’t hit FNC personalities because that’s KO’s bag, and he only shares with his friends. So he tries to go after Limbaugh… but that isn’t/doesn’t work because Limbaugh is too popular and Matthews is too insignificant.

It’s just a stunt. A really obvious and pathetic stunt.
