Fiorina: ‘Typical Left-Wing Tactics’ to Connect Pro-Lifers to Planned Parenthood Attack

Carly Fiorina denounced “typical left-wing tactics” in reaction to accusations that overheated Republican abortion rhetoric led to the Planned Parenthood shooting two days ago.

Lots of Planned Parenthood supporters made the link, including the PP official who oversaw the Colorado Springs clinic that the shooter targeted.

Fiorina told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that the shooting was a “tragedy” and the gunman was clearly “deranged.”

On the charge that anti-abortion rhetoric contributed to the shooting, Fiorina said, “This is so typical of the left to immediately begin demonizing a messenger because they don’t agree with the message.”

She said anyone trying to link the shooting to such rhetoric is engaging in “typical left-wing tactics,” while acknowledging that all protesters––including ones outside Planned Parenthood––should always conduct themselves peacefully.
