Fmr. Perry Campaign Manager Tells Chris Jansing ‘People On Television And The Pundits Need To Change Their Diaper And Relax’

On Friday’s Jansing & Co., host Chris Jansing spoke with former Perry campaign manager Rob Johnson, a man who is something of a poet when it comes to expressing his disdain for the media.

Johnson addressed the idea of “inevitability” when it comes to a candidate (“a made-up, Washington DC word,” as Johnson described it), when he took a jab at the way the media has been covering the GOP candidates, Mitt Romney in particular. “I think the only people who thought [Romney] was inevitable were his campaign and people who sit in air-conditioned studios in swivel chairs drinking lattes.”

Jansing chose to ignore this.

Goes for the audiences too.  If you watch any (repeat: ANY) of the 24hour news networks, you aren’t doing yourself any favors.

I ran one of the worst campaigns in recent memory, but it is the media’s fault.  Rick Perry came into the campaign with a lot of momentum and as soon as he opened his mouth the rest of the country stood in awe at how this clown could have been elected to any office, never mind Governor.  By the end people were at the point of almost (almost) feeling sorry for the guy.

yes.  And HE is exactly why he and his candidate are throwing red meat at CPAC and then slinkin’ back to Texas.

Did you see Governor Perry at the racist/homophobic CPAC conference?  Wow, this guy is really scary.  I thought he was going to blow his brainless top.  These people are nuts!

He should have told Rick to put a diaper over his head for his whole campaign. If he did he might still be a contender for the most idiotic GOP campaign ever.

Hey BMF, get your facts straight – Corzine was governor of New Jersey, not Texas!

Of course Rob Johnson has disdain for the media (including Fox News). They (the media) exposed the fact that he managed one of the most inept and ill-prepared campaigns (for Governor Perry) in recent history. No wonder he’s so chippy and classless.

I had to laugh when I read that the text for one of Rick Perry’s policy proposals for his energy plan was lifted right off an oil companies website. Too funny.

I didn’t have to read any of these posts, but I did.  Apparently all these posters think alike.  They don’t appreciate any type of comments that don’t follow their lead in to the discussions about the article in question.  I recognize that to even think about attempting to counter their remarks would be futile, so I won’t go anywhere near that approach.  I have never liked discussing any type of philosophical or political subject with people whose opinions I don’t share.  It shouldn’t be that way, but it is, so I won’t comment on the article either.  That in a few words is the problem with our political system in 2012.  Nobody is listening to those who are talking or to those who are directing the games being played in Washington D.C. at our expense.  Barack Obama could be and probably is the most devious person ever to occupy the White House.  But I’m sure that nobody on their side of the political spectrum will admit that this is so even if becomes more and more obvious that the president doesn’t have the best of intentions when it comes to directiing this government onto the proper course for our Republic.  He not only is devious, he is the biggest liar ever to hold the title of President of the United States.  He appears unable to open his mouth to give a speech without attempting to attack some of us who don’t agree with his approach to running this country.  He has passed the point of no return in his task of destroying our Constitutional values and traditions.  He has already assumed the mantle of dictator, much as Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez did in their respective countries.  If he is reelected in November of this year it will be all over but the celebrating noices from all the Democratic Party supporters and their Marxist followers.
