Gretchen Carlson On Joe Lieberman’s Opposition To Obama Jobs Bill: ‘You Sound Like A Republican’

Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman sat down with Fox and Friends to discuss his opposition to President Obama‘s jobs bill. Lieberman said the the number one thing the country should be doing to get our economy going again is to deal with the debt. Gretchen Carlson was surprised by his answer. “Senator, you’re sounding like a Republican,” Carlson said. “No, I’m an Independent,” Lieberman countered. “But I think any Republican in the Senate would say exactly what you just said.” Carlson responded. “Well, as an Independent, I guess I’ve got the freedom to say what i think.” Lieberman said.

“The bill is well intentioned and there are interesting parts of it,” the Connecticut Senator explained. “I’m fascinated by this idea of a national infrastructure bank to finance investments in public infrastructure, which is good for jobs and our economy longer term. A lot of the rest of it is well-intentioned stuff, but we can’t afford it and that’s why I would vote against the bill.”

Carlson asked Lieberman what he thought of Occupy Wall Street and he gave a wishy-washy response.

“Well, look, it’s hard to know whether you agree or disagree because it’s hard to know exactly what their program is…I’m following it,” Lieberman said. “I’m trying to understand what they’re all about. A little wary of some set of political fringe elements that may be part of it. Ultimately, I think if they want to make a real difference, they got to do exactly what the tea party did, which was to go from public protests to organizing and supporting candidates in next year’s election.”

This is playing out exactly how Obamacare played out, pay attention to this “Independent” senator.

Lieberman doesn’t give a shit about the debt — we know that, he voted for Obamacare. Lieberman only cares about his career, he’s looking for a kickback. Again, Lieberman only voted for Obamacare only after it was crafted so that the American people are forced by the government to buy his constituents’ services. Lieberman by far benefits the most from the passage of Obamacare.

Lieberman lost Dems the election in 2000 and campaigned with McCain in 2008. He later flip-flopped on the Medicare buy in he proposed eight days after he supported it in the health-care bill. He is the reason Democrats NEVER had a true 60 count in the senate. Well, him and all the blue dogs who get millions from the insurance companies.

This is the wrong President to solve the tragic economy that he inherited, and unfortunately added substantially to it. We needed a much more agressive President. We needed another Bill Clinton. We needed Hilliary Clinton. The Republicans are a complete disasterr and though the Democrats are showing more common sense, they still leave alot to be desired.t. I certainly don’t want to see a Republican in the White House, and hoping that they will lose control of the House. If Republicans take control, our country will be in a state of horrific depression for decades. Unless Hillary decides to run, and she said she is not, I don’t see anyone else on the horizon. However, I would vote for Obama again rather than stupidly vote for another Republican President .

Joe Leibermann is one of the frew Old Democrats left that still think straight, very few of them left. I was a Democrat, until 2008, and could only hear BS and Lies coming from Obama’s mouth. I always voted on a person record, acheivements, and ability to lead. Obama had none of these and I was not about to vote for someone who could not even prove who they were, and had attended a Hate America church for over twenty years. Now, the Deomocratic party is no more, no it is the Looney Tunes Legion of Demons, which I cannot be a part of. Guess I am a Conservative now, lol!
