Jon Stewart Reports: The Scourge Of Anthropomorphic Corporate Spokespeople
Who knew that our lovable and cartoonish brand icons were having such a bad year? Jon Stewart did that’s who. Pegged to the recent kerfuffle between FreedomWorks and Geico voiceover artist D.C. Douglas, Stewart uncovered a long list of wrong-doings from our cuddly corporate pitchman, including Tony the Tiger, the Michelin Man and even the Hamburger Helper Hand (who apparently was responsible for Hitler’s death?)
But in the NSFW video clip below, the highlight (or is it lowlight?) is some stunning footage of the Pillsbury Doughboy and his inappropriate reaction to a hot and steamy toaster strudel. Mr. Doughboy was a guest on the show, and does not show contrition for what many feel was perhaps the beginning of his undoing.
