As I said in a recent post, I grew up in a place where nobody talked about race. Why? There were only white people around. No racial strife in a situation like that. We didn’t talk about race, and that is the only way to really NOT be racist. The concept simply does not exist.
Then, as I grew older and my family moved 60 miles, there were some black people in the new community, but there was still no talk of race. By the time I was an adult, I learned about the segregation and the Civil Rights movement in the south, and that it was LIBERALS who were down there supporting racial equality.
It is only after the Tea Party sprang up that CONSERVATIVES tried to prove that liberals are the RACISTS by saying that CONSERVATIVES who called themselves Democrats were the RACISTS in the south.

Liberal comics are hateful and to make their points they hate and promote hate. Conservative comics have sense of humor and have the sense of decency to laugh at themselves. Unheard of in liberal circles.

The Liberal Left and the Democratic Party are guilty of hypocrisy in terms of race relations and civil rights. But, Coulter’s defense of Cain was cringe-inducingly juvenile, dated, and in poor taste. I agree with some of what you say (not about the Tea Party or the Republican Party), but please to try to keep in mind who those three individuals are;

1) Coulter is a political author, lecturer and sometime talking head/pundit who must continually say outrageous and provocative things to remain relevant and keep herself in the spotlight.

2) Trump is a realtor, reality show star and mogul who occasionally dabbles in politics and seems to crave and seek out the limelight. He does this at least in part by saying outrageous and provocative things.

3) Stewart is a standup comedian, satirist and comedy show host who 4 days out of the week comments on political current events. He can also be outrageous and provocative, but can also be informative and entertaining (to some people, not all). I think he’d prefer big laughs to headlines – but saying provocative things probably don’t hurt his ratings. (The original Daily Show with Craig Kilborn was decidedly less political.)

These 3 people have jobs to do and they’re all just doing them to the best of their abilities. Nobody is batting a thousand.

The democratic party was more racist than the Republican party until the 1960s. This is because it was generally party of the south and the Repubs were the party of the north.

Then, in 1960, a Democrat named JFK ran with a partner named LBJ, on a civil rights platform, which completely turned what had been the democratic party. 

The Republican party introduced Barry Goldwater soon thereafter, who was extremely racist and wanted segregation, not integration. From then on, the south started voting Republican… because there was still a lot of racism, but the parties had switched roles.

Learn your history. Republicans WERE the party of equality… until JFK came along, and their roles switched.

Well I’m no a Glenn Beck fan, and I guess Fox News wasn’t either.  I’m just stating the realities of what the Left and Right have to offer as their preiminent “culture warriors”.  Limbaugh and Coulter attempt mock, and at times are successful, but they pale in comparison to the mockery done by the Jon Stewart.  When your opponent (in this case Glenn Beck) concedes that they have no answer for it tells you how skillfull Jon is at mocking.

Well I’m sure they engage in similar activities that conservatives do who have no life.  This may include listening to equivalent 24 hour news stations that only serve to only reinforce their world view.
