Michael Moore On Libya: The U.S. And Our Military ‘Needs To Go To The Time-Out Room’

Michael Moore appeared last night on The Joy Behar Show with guest host Roseanne Barr and expressed great disappointment with President Obama and American intervention in Libya. Although Moore still believes Obama is a “man with a good heart,” Moore wishes Obama would “start listening to himself” rather than listening to the people who think that the American military is the answer to everything.

Moore repeated his disgrace over America’s involvement in Iraq as a result of repeated and restructured lies and concluded:

“Because of the horrific violation of our American values and of human values . . . we need the United States and especially our military, needs to go to the time-out room. We really shouldn’t be dropping bombs or invading anybody else for some time to come.”

Roseanne attempts to argue Obama’s case, that there is a difference here with Libya, because if American did not get involved then an immediate humanitarian crisis was likely to have occurred. Moore agrees that Americans are good people with good intentions, and says “we want to help humanity, but we’ve behaved badly” in the past. Moore spoke extremely highly of the individual Americans serving in the military; however, was most frustrated by the fact that they are repeatedly “used not to defend us, which is what they signed up for.”

The Obama Administration is considering “arming the rebels with heavier weapons” that will require military trainers be provided to them also. This is how the Vietnam War was tip-toed into by the Kennedy Administration.

Whichever tribe prevails in the Lybian civil war is going to misstreat the other civilians so the U.S. State Department is going to be bringing thousands-more Lybians to be “resettled” in our country as “Political Asylum” refugees.

They will be able to keep-up with daily political events in their homeland on facebook and raising money for their tribesmen’s efforts against the other side like the Egyptians in the U.S. are doing:

HLN must want to get shut down. They give Behar a show and when she’s not there, Barr is hosting it and Moore is a “Prime Time Exclusive”. They’re not even trying anymore.

To be honest, I fail to see how Moore is an expert on anything, especially when it comes to politics.

Normally do not agree at all with MM but I am sick & tired of ‘U.S.’: 1) Think’g we POLICE can world;
2) wasting our money & soldiers on people who hated US yesterday, today & tomorrow;
