‘Opportunistic’: Fox Hosts Hit Obama for Being Quick to Invoke Guns on Charleston
Hosts on Fox’s Outnumbered today raised their eyebrows at President Obama for being so quick to invoke gun violence in America in reaction to Charleston.
Julie Roginsky said it’s not too soon to talk about this, but Andrea Tantaros bemoaned the “divisive, two-sided, nasty political debate” that happens every time there’s a shooting.
She said it was “surprising” how quickly Obama invoked guns and said it’s “a bit hyperbolic to come out and do this blanket declaration that all guns are bad.”
Judge Alex Ferrer and Harris Faulkner also weren’t too keen about how quick Obama was to the issue, with Faulkner saying it was maybe “opportunistic” on his part.
